I'm performing with the Gil Evans Project again at Birdland for our annual May residency. My sets are Thursday night at 7 and 9:30 pm in celebration of our upcoming album release of Shades of Sound: Live at Jazz Standard Vol. 2, and Friday and Saturday nights at 8:30 and 10:30 pm singing music Gil wrote for the Claude Thornhill Orchestra in the 40's, plus several charts arranged for a vocal quartet, including myself, Tomas Cruz, Nick Prior, and Pat Laslie.
